I’m very excited about this one. The work I’ve been doing for French Connection has started appearing on their Manifesto blog.

An alphabet made up of books. There’s not much more to say about it other than the fact you can find a bigger image here.

Work is too crazy for a proper blog post this week so instead I offer you an old rough that I have just stumbled across. I can’t recall exactly what this one was meant to mean. Perhaps it went with an article about modernising the banking system? I don’t know. Now the image has lost all meaning I find myself rather taken by the thought of R2D2 and C3PO as door to door salesmen. Something I may have to come back to.
Another recent World Finance editorial illustration. A graveyard of forgotten ideas.

A huge thanks to everyone who came along and made Saturday at Kettle Art such an incredible night. There are a few more of my not so great photos to be found on flickr. Most credit goes to Giggle Party for turning the night into a massive party, not to mention the fact they made the the whole show happen and took the time to show me the sights and sounds (and tastes) of Dallas.

Anyone coming along to the exhibition in Dallas next week should be able to get their hands on some of these badges…

Another recent bit of editorial work. This time for World Finance magazine and an article, The Tale of Two American Economies, about a larger part of the economy made up by the small firms and self-employed workers that often go under the radar and are still in a deep and persistent downturn. Jobs that may be gone forever.
As soon as I get a chance some more of these World Finance illustrations will be appearing in the portfolio.
I’m curious to know how many credit crunch related illustrations I produced over 2009. I wonder if the Financial Crisis was worth it for me.
Another recent Research World illustration for an article about up-market shops pretending to be the most economic place to shop.

A portrait of your typical internet focus group for Research World.

One image from a project that will hopefully see the light of day very soon.
