ROUGH

C3PO R2D2
Work is too crazy for a proper blog post this week so instead I offer you an old rough that I have just stumbled across. I can’t recall exactly what this one was meant to mean. Perhaps it went with an article about modernising the banking system? I don’t know. Now the image has lost all meaning I find myself rather taken by the thought of R2D2 and C3PO as door to door salesmen. Something I may have to come back to.

CONQUEROR – ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES

Conqueror - Endless Possibilities

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Blast on a book showing off the the range of Conqueror papers and I’m excited to say it is now finished and copies are making their way around the world. I’ll post more images (there are hundreds in the book) soon in the Illustration section of this site but in the meantime here are a few shots of the book and promotional posters courtesy of Blast. You can see the whole lot and find out more about the book here – www.conquerorpossibilities.com.

FORGOTTEN IDEAS: CRAFT WARS

Craft Wars
I’ve got a load of forgotten drawings hanging around in my sketchbooks that weren’t chosen as the final solution to various briefs. Some of them probably didn’t make the final cut for very obvious reasons but there are others that deserve to see the light of day. I’m going to start posting them on this blog every now and then. I’ve chosen this first one because it really is a forgotten idea – in fact I can’t remember what it’s supposed to mean at all. It was drawn for a book I worked on with Blast promoting the range of Conqueror papers. The book has just been released.

You can see images of the book here – www.blast.co.uk/
