Giggle Party at The Make-Out Room

It’s always a joy to work on something new for Giggle Party. Here’s a new poster…

Zombie Portraits

While we were coming up with artwork for Death and Other Unnatural Phenomena Giggle Party ran a competition where they promised that the winners would be immortalised in the album artwork. Being ‘a party album about death’ the winner’s portraits were always going to have at least a slight whiff of rotting corpse about them. Check out the full artwork here and close-ups of the portraits below…

LEARN TO LIVE

Zombie Lincoln, James Brown and Power Ranger. A few more drawings for Giggle Party.

EXHIBITION

I’ll be in Dallas at the end of the month (28th) to show some of my artwork at Kettle Art alongside music from Giggle Party who will be playing Sat 30th. I’ll be showing art from the Jason Bought a Hatchet video along with a whole load of other stuff. If you’re in the area make sure to come along and say hi.

Huge thanks to Parade of Flesh, Giggle Party and Kettle Art for setting this up. Details below and more here.

FOOD ANTHEMS

enRoute Magazine - Food Anthems

A short while ago I completed an illustration for enRoute magazine’s November issue. Being their food issue I was asked to illustrate a rock band with food based musicians to go along with an article about food-themed songs. I suggested a few alternative ideas and in the end we went with the tape/spaghetti illustration above.

A copy of the magazine just dropped through the letterbox and reminded me I was going to upload the roughs here. So here you go. There’s something about these food characters I still quite like…

DURGE – JULY

DURGE - 3rd July

I just finished the latest illustration for Durge continuing with the skeleton theme. You can see the last one here.

DURGE

Durge Flyer

A flyer I illustrated last month for Durge which highlights the fact that I definitely don’t draw enough church organs. I’ll try my best to rectify the situation. Click the image to see a larger version.
