Dragon Rouge

Last week Dragon Rouge invited me in to their office to do a little redecorating. They now have the comforting presence of a rather handsome (and rather large) painting of the queen to watch over them as they go about their daily business.

Jealous Gallery at Heals

For one week only from 30th January until 5th February 2012, North London’s Jealous Gallery and Print Studio is set to take up residence in the windows of Heal’s flagship Tottenham Court Road store, turning the area into a live studio space where original and limited edition artworks will be created.

Jealous will be printing my Queen image live in the windows of Heal’s. They will also be giving customers the chance to print their own ‘moustache mask’ from a selection that I have been drawing.

Check the Heal’s or Jealous Gallery websites for more info and to find out about the other exciting art and artists that are lined up throughout the week. Jayoon Choi’s contribution sounds unmissable…

Customers will also be able to pull their own prints of Jayoon Choi’s line drawings, made of passers-by on the street outside Heals. These will be screenprints, in black ink on white paper.

MAYBE ONLY OF ANY INTEREST TO ME BUT…

It seems there are some clearer photos of the Queen’s recent appearance on stage with the Eagles of Death Metal. Unfortunately for my brother this steals his crown for being the most famous person I’ve seen wearing the t-shirt and puts the random guy I spotted in Brixton right down the list into 3rd place.

There’s a healthy (or maybe frightening) amount of work to keep me busy this week but there are a few drawings I found that I want to post on here if i get the chance.
